Downtown Beaufort’s Panini’s on the Waterfront is proud of its ‘doggie menu’ that allows you to have your best friend by your side when you’re dining out, more often than not. The pet-friendly establishment perched on Bay Street along Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park allows dogs on it’s expansive River Deck for both lunch and dinner, and shows it’s allegiance to Beaufort’s pet lovers by offering specific dishes prepared just for your pooch.
In addition to your enjoying regular Panini’s favorites like their local fresh seafood dishes, panini sandwiches, steaks, signature pizzas and more, you can also order a dish of prepared Beef and Rice, Beef and Barley, Turkey and also Pooch Pasta for your companion.
“It’s a no-brainer”, said Panini’s owner Paul Thompson. “We have always been pet friendly, and with so many wonderful folks constantly coming down and enjoying the Waterfront Park with their pets, it makes us happy to be able to offer the doggie menu and create an atmosphere that everyone can enjoy”, he said.
It’s no secret that Beaufort is a very pet friendly town and many of its businesses are as well. Most downtown restaurants give water and treats to pets whose humans are dining, but Panini’s is really pleasing the canine palate and also giving patrons options.
Don’t forget Beaufort’s tourist friends either. With nearly 20% of all Americans who travel bringing a pet along, many look for a vacation which they can do things with their pets in tow.
The scene of previous ‘Dine with your dog’ fundraising events, Panini’s is offering locally made Lucky Dog Cuisine, an all-natural gourmet food for dogs, featuring grass-fed, hormone-free beef and many organic ingredients. Lucky Dog Cuisine, Inc states in it’s media that it’s product is “wholesome and natural, made with only human-grade ingredients”.
At a glance, some of the ingredients listed in the dinners consist of whole wheat pastas, organic flax seed, brown rice, plenty of veggies, oils, purees, spices and more. We noticed not one preservative, additive or anything otherwise.
If you’re looking to enjoy a full day with Fido including lunch or dinner for the both of you, it appears that Panini’s is the place to be.
