Ole Timey Meats opened its doors for business on Lady’s Island on Monday and, after being without one for a few months, we couldn’t wait to go and take a look inside. After purchasing the Islands Meat Market in February, owners Chandra and Jason Williams have been remodeling the store, getting it ready to open as the company’s fifth location in South Carolina.
The new butcher shop offers local grass-fed beef along with hormone-free chicken and pork raised right here in South Carolina as well as fresh local seafood, veal and other exotic items including house made sausages, soups, sides and more.“We are very excited about this location. My business partner Jason and I love the Beaufort area and have visited with our family for years,” said owner Chandra Williams.
“We’re really more of an old fashioned butcher shop with a modern spin. We make our own sausages and cut everything in house and through our SC-grown grass fed beef co-op, we have lots of cuts that you won’t see in a traditional market,” she added.
“You can expect to find the highest quality chicken, beef and pork selections. Because we know that what you feed your family matters, we offer family farmed proteins that are minimally processed without preservatives.”
The new spot on Lady’s Island joins two others in the Columbia area and one each in Camden and Florence, SC.
