Model trains, old-fashioned city scapes return to Beaufort Library for Christmas

Model Trains Pulling Into Beaufort Library for Christmas

Model trains will be zipping around the Beaufort Branch Library as the Beaufort Railroaders bring the big-city and small-town scenes to life at this year’s annual Holiday display.

See vintage Lionel and American High Flyer model trains traverse around and through small-town scenery including neighborhood baseball fields, storefronts, churches, and train depots, complete with vintage model cars on old-fashioned city streets.

The trains are running on a special, one-week-only schedule from Tuesday, December 12th through Saturday, December 16th. The display hours are from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday. The library is located at 311 Scott Street in downtown Beaufort.

If you can’t make it to the library to see this year’s display, we hope you will enjoy these photos from previous years.

Happy Holidays!
