Whether you are looking to get spooked, pick up some pumpkins, enjoy a Halloween party, or just grab some treats along the way, here’s all the haunting details you’ll need to have a spooktacular time! There’s an abundance of Fall & Halloween activities in our neck of the Lowcountry to keep us busier than ever. From family friendly events, date nights, group activities and even festivities for your pets, there is something for everyone. Some of our local restaurants and businesses are hosting free Costume Parties, so get out and have some fun.

HALLOWEEN PARTIES

Brody’s Bar & Grill on Lady’s Island is hosting a Halloween Party and costume contest with cash prizes on Saturday night starting at 10pm with entertainment,bar specials and lots more.  47 Ferry Drive, Lady’s Island

Rosie O’Grady’s in Beaufort Town Center is having a Halloween Party with a costume contest, ‘karaoke from hell’, prizes, party specials and more from 9pm to 2am on Saturday night.

Panini’s on the Waterfront is hosting it’s annual costume party on Saturday night starting at 10pm. Enjoy specials at the bar and lots more. 926 Bay Street, downtown

On Thursday night, October 27th, your pets get to enjoy some Halloween fun at the 2nd annual Yappy Hour Party & Pet Costume Contest at Coastal Real Estate Solutions. Enjoy a super fun event complete with a doggie costume contest and drawings for prizes. Music will be provided and Coastal Real Estate Solutions will also be collecting dog/cat food for the local animal shelters. Local shelters will also be bringing dogs that are looking for their forever home.

Enjoy a fun Trunk or Treat (of the truest kind) at the Highway 21 Drive In on Saturday night starting at 530pm. Bring your car, decorate it and set up for the evening of movies and trunk-or-treating with all the kids.

Creations & Libations in Habersham is hosting a BLACK LIGHT Halloween Masquerade Party on Saturday evening. It’s family friendly from 6:00-8:00pm and then goes adult from 8:00-10:00pm. Create your own BLACK LIGHT SENSITIVE Halloween Masquerade mask and decorate it using all sorts of fun materials. Then, finish up the night by celebrating Halloween with some fun games.

The Beaufort Dy Spa is hosting its annual Halloween Party on Saturday night from 7 to 10pm. It’s a free drop-in party with plenty of finger foods and adult beverages.

Community Events and other Halloween fun

One of Beaufort’s spookiest events, the annual Beaufort Ghost Tours, began October 21st, and run through the 30th. Take a carriage ride or walking tour through the moss lined streets of Beaufort’s historic district while listening to costumed storytellers tell haunting tales of the area. You just never know what you’ll see. Some of Beaufort’s oldest residents have shared ghostly stories from their childhood. Trick or Treat in Downtown Beaufort is coming on Thursday. Grab the costumed kids, put on your walking shoes and head into Downtown Beaufort from 430 to 6pm for the annual Trick or Treat in Downtown event, presented by Main Street Beaufort, USA and the downtown merchants. Trick or Treat with the downtown businesses along Bay, Carteret, Port Republic, West, Charles and Scott Streets. Kids and parents love this free event as downtown comes alive with costumes, kids, and community.

Carteret Street United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch  The Pumpkin Patch is open daily through Halloween with thousands of pumpkins of all sizes to choose from. All proceeds raised benefit Carteret Street’s youth ministries.

Praise Assembly in Shell Point is hosting its annual Harvest Fest Celebration on Halloween night from 6 to 8pm. Enjoy a trunk or treat, tons of fun games, bounce houses, rides,bafall food, music and lots more. 800 Parris Island Gateway

It’s Fall Festival time at Beaufort Academy on Friday from 3 to 5pm. The school will have fun tractor rides along with tons of games, a dunk tank, prizes, a bake sale, food, entertainment with a live DJ and bounce houses for the littler ones.  240 Sams Point Road, Lady’s Island

As you can see there is no shortage of festivities in the area. Grab your goblins and head on out for some spooky fun! For those new to town: Trick or treating in Beaufort on Halloween is typically celebrated on October 31st starting at 6pm, with no official ending time that night. Please, stay safe, have lots of fun, and consider parking that golf cart for the evening and get out and get some exercise with the kids.
