Everyone knows there are tons of things to do here in our little slice of the Lowcountry and Coastal Living magazine just picked ten things they they suggest a visitor not miss while they’re here visiting Beaufort, and the list is a good one.
“There’s a reason we zeroed in on this gem of a Lowcountry town….it’s brimming with beauty and year-round activity,” they said.
The magazine was very giving of its praise of Beaufort as a whole, while choosing certain restaurants and particular spots to feature.
In an article published this week, they picked these ten things to add to your itinerary while you’re in town for a tour.
1 Enjoy a festival
2 Shop downtown
3 Visit Hunting Island
4 Stay at the Anchorage 1770
5 Explore Habersham
6 Take a boat tour
7 Walk or jog around downtown, or The Sands
9 Visiting local historic spots
10 Go kayaking or paddleboarding
Coastal Living has shown lots of love to Beaufort recently, including naming the 2018 Coastal Living Idea House in a spot at Habersham. Over the years they’ve named Beaufort the Happiest Seaside Town in America, shown love to Beaufort’s restaurants and to our beloved Hunting Island Beach.
