It's time to #PickUpTheBucket and Walk for Water this Saturday in Port Royal!

Once again, Beaufort will unite to help bring safe water to hundreds of men, women and children across the world. Together, we will reach people in need!

On September 21st, hundreds of us will take to the streets of Port Royal to bring safe water for life to thousands of men women and children across the world. This is more than a Walk. It’s an event that will impact people forever by providing lasting solutions that save lives. Join us as we walk so others won’t have to. With only a few days left to go, it’s time to #pickupthebucket and sign up! Walk, support a walker or a team or make a general donation. A child dies every 20 seconds from contaminated water, and it is estimated to take $35 to get one person safe water for life! Sign up today or make a donation online to help.

Why Pick Up The Bucket?

Every day, millions of women and children in developing countries walk over three miles to retrieve water for their family’s daily needs. In most cases, the water they collect is contaminated. Every 37 seconds one person dies from water-related illnesses. This is the global water crisis. Imagine that as little as $25 in the hands of Water Mission could provide one person safe water for life. A donation of $500 could provide a latrine for sanitation in a community. Solar panels for an average sized project are less than $1100. How much will you help us raise this year? It’s time to #PickUpTheBucket
