Annual KidFest coming to Beaufort

For the 21st year, the annual KidFest is coming on Saturday, April 1st in the Cross Creek Shopping Center bringing along a fun day of FREE activities, games, prizes, crafts, and entertainment for families celebrating our children.

KidFest is a combined effort of both civilian and military agencies in celebration of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Month of the Military Child. Local organizations and agencies including the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) and the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) will be present educating and entertaining our community.

The event is FREE to the public, and all families are invited to the event for snow cones, games, jumping and virtual booths, crafts, face painting, fire truck tours, animals, prizes, a talent show featuring local groups, and much more.  In recent years, the event has brought tons of people and featured many area civic groups, vendors, a petting zoo, a pizza eating contest, rock climbing wall, superstar guests, DJs and lots of other great things for the kids.
