Port Royal brings back Oktoberfest celebration with twist

The Old Village Association of Port Royal is bringing back the Oktoberfest celebration by hosting OktoPRfest ‘Party Port Royal Style’,  on October 17th & 18th. The festival will kick off on Friday with a craft beer tasting party at The Shed, an adult only event with over 25 microbreweries as well as local home brewers in attendance.  The night will also consist of German games and contests with each admission including a commemorative glass.

Appropriately enough, the live entertainment for the night will be The Brewer Band.

The party continues on Saturday, October 18th from noon to 6pm on Paris Avenue. There will be plenty of activities including food vendors, artists, and craft booths all lined up on Paris Avenue, as well as children’s activities, live music and entertainment for all ages.

If you don’t make it on Friday night you can still enjoy a huge variety of craft beers on Saturday and of course local food specialties prepared by local restaurants. Organizers expect food vendors, artists and crafters lined up and down Paris Avenue.

As always in Port Royal, there will be a classic cars on display featuring dozens of beautiful vehicles.
