14th Annual Beaufort Homes for the Holidays Tour
November 21, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Kick off the Christmas season with the 14th Annual Homes for the Holidays Home Tour. Homes for the Holidays is the only holiday home tour of area residences in Beaufort. In previous years, homes have been featured in Habersham, Islands of Beaufort, Distant Island and The Point. This year’s home tours that benefit St. Peter’s Catholic Elementary School’s Tuition Assistance Fund will take place in one of the area’s finest residential communities – Bull Point Plantation.
As if these homes aren’t stunning enough… six private homes will be beautifully decorated by local professional designers and doors opened to ticket holders.
Morning coffee on the river, a run or walk on the foot path, and maybe a boat ride before the club BBQ could frame your day if you live in Bull Point Plantation. A natural setting just minutes from downtown Beaufort, and quietly tucked along Highway 17, Bull Point is rich with wildlife, woodlands, creeks and marsh, and deep water access, as well as clubhouse, pool, and social calendar. It’s quite the best of both worlds.
The gates open Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22, for strolling diverse homes decorated by local interior designers and trimmed in the latest holiday finds. A number of the designers will be on hand during the tour to answer questions and for consultation. Sweet Bay downtown is offering a sneak peek at the black and white theme it’s displaying. “Not only is the event becoming an established event in Beaufort, but groups of friends from all over the Lowcountry are making this a holiday tradition, says Leigh Ann Parrick, co-chair of the tour. “There are groups of friends who never miss it!” she exclaims.
The tour occurs the weekend before Thanksgiving, making it easy for guests to plan ahead.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at Sweet Bay, St. Peter’s, and at Bull Point during the tour. Parking is on site. Get a glimpse of one of the Lowcountry’s private communities while enjoying a festive start to the holidays, complete with caroling, refreshments, and design.
Walking Tour Times are Saturday, 11 – 3 and Sunday, 12 – 3.
