Spring has arrived in the Lowcountry and as Easter nears everybody wants to know where to find the Easter Bunny for photos and who’s hosting a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt for the kids.
We rounded up a few that are coming both north and south of the Broad River.
On Saturday, April 8th, St. John’s Lutheran Church on Lady’s Island is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 130pm. Find more info at http://www.stjohnsbeaufort.org/.
You can get the kids’ photos taken with the Easter bunny on Saturday the 8thfrom 9am to 2pm at Chick-fil-A on Boundary Street in Beaufort. Always a fun time at a kid-friendly spot. Visit the event on Facebook for more info.
Also on April 8th if you’re over on Hilton Head you can enjoy the 10,000 Egg Hunt: Shipwrecked Edition hosted by Grace Community Church. They’re filling up part of Jarvis Creek Park from Noon to 3pm for a free fun event with a hunt for toddlers at 12:30pm and a hunt for 5-12 year olds at 1:30om. Enjoy food, burgers, hot dogs and candy along with over 10,000 Easter eggs. Visit the event on Facebook for more info.
On April 15th, Community Bible Church at 638 Parris Island Gateway is hosting its annual Eggstravaganza from 10am to 2pm with free egg hunts for children, pony rides, contests, bounce houses, candy and food.
Also on April 15th, the annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Shell Point Baptist Church at 871 Parris Island Gateway starting at 11am with lots of free fun for the kids.
An,d April 15th brings fun to Port Royal. Praise Assembly is hosting its Community Easter Egg Hunt at Naval Heritage Park (near skate park) from 3-5pm. This is a free event open to the public. There will be games, food, face painting, bounce houses and raffles and the egg hunt will start at 4PM.
In downtown Beaufort on April 15th, the Beaufort Inn is hosting an Easter Eggstravanganza in the Tabby Garden from 9-11am. Children 10 and under can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt and have their photos taken with the Easter bunny. Visit the event on Facebook for more info.
On April 16th kids on Hilton Head can enjoy the 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Skull Creek Boathouse on Squire Pope Rd from 11am to noon. The hunt is free to all children 8 years and under and there is also face painting and photos with the Easter Bunny too.
